I’m Michael Smith. Twenty years running hospitality operations, ten years in construction. What I’m best at is managing a project and taking care of the client — so that’s what I do.
The building goes to the best trades in Columbus, and I mean that literally. The tile setter who reads a floor before he sets a single piece and lands the pattern dead center on the drain. The finish carpenter whose miters you can’t find with your fingernail. The electrician who leaves a panel so clean the inspector stops to look at it. The framer who runs a wall so true the drywall crew doesn’t have a single thing to say about it.
These are people who chose one thing and spent twenty years getting better at it. They take pride in work most homeowners will never see — behind the wall, under the floor, inside the panel — because that’s who they are. There’s no learning curve on your house. It’s routine to them, which is exactly why it comes out right the first time and faster than you expect.

My job is everything else. Scope, sequencing, schedule, budget, inspections, and the answer to every question you have along the way. I keep the job organized so the craftsmen can do what they’re great at without anybody in their way. You never chase a subcontractor, never get handed to an office, never wonder who’s accountable.
