I ran hospitality operations for more than twenty years before I opened MGS Construction in 2016. That background isn’t a detour from this work. It’s the reason people hire me.
Hospitality teaches you that the experience is built before the guest ever walks in. Somebody planned the sequence, staged the materials, briefed the team, and caught the problem at 6 a.m. so nobody noticed it at 7. That’s project management. It’s the same skill whether the room is a dining room or your kitchen with the cabinets out.
What I do is run your project. What the trades do is build it.
For years I carried a job start to finish with my own hands. The business outgrew that. Rather than stretch myself across five trades and be adequate at all of them, I built a network of specialists and put my time where it does you the most good — scope, sequencing, schedule, budget, permits, inspections, and answering your questions the same day you ask them.
The tile setter who reads a floor before he sets a single piece. The finish carpenter whose miters you can’t find with your fingernail. The framer who runs a wall so true the drywall crew has nothing to say about it. These are people who picked one thing and spent twenty years getting better at it. Every one of them is vetted, carries their own insurance, and stands behind their work. That’s the price of admission to work with me.

I match the scope to the right trades. You approve the number before anyone comes to the property.
I run the schedule and the site. Deliveries, sequencing, inspections, cleanup, and the daily update so you’re never guessing.
I stand behind the finished work. Client once, client for life is not a slogan I printed on something. It’s why most of my work comes from people I’ve already built for.
